Popular science presentation for the inhabitants of Katowice as part of the New Technologies Week. During the presentation, the audience learned that the availability of food products is a challenge for many industry sectors, not only food producers themselves. The path from farm to consumption, known as food-chain, involves, among others: production, transport, storage, sales and refrigeration industries, and each of these areas consumes energy, emitting a total of 20 to 40.
